Simmi’s Story

I thoroughly enjoyed my social work placement at Hope. I gained so much confidence and experience, especially in working with those involved in substance misuse. I learned so much and was able to engage in groupwork, casework and see Hope’s community work. There was good reflection on theory and how this relates to practice and I was given opportunity to take on projects and co-lead groups.

Hope is a lovely, warm and welcoming environment for any student and I would encourage anyone to choose this as their placement.
