This morning Ben is waking up in a nice warm bed thanks to Hope’s new project that opened this week
At the beginning of the year, Ben was sofa surfing which, as the Lockdown restrictions came in to force across the UK meant that he was unable to continue living this lifestyle. A life on the streets was what Ben faced.
Now after months of daily support from Hope (support with benefit claims, food, clothing, a supply of toiletries and other items along with a friendly face each day) he is the first tenant in our the Hope’s new house.
Ben is hoping that this is the start of his new life and intends to access Hope’s Learning4Living program to help him learn new skills and return to work in the near future.
