take on a challenge

A brilliant way to raise money for Hope is to take on a creative, sporting, activity-based or physical challenge.

This can range from something simple, like going without cake and biscuits for a month and sending what you would have spent to Hope, organising a sale of craft work, through to running a marathon.

This kind of activity works best within a family, group of friends, community group or club, or in a workplace.

In the workplace it can be a useful team building activity, because people like to get involved with charities; but it can also help your bottom line as physical health, for example amongst workers and better team building improves productivity and performance. Taking part in a charity activity motivates staff, improves their physical health, where activity is involved, and increases profit! It can be a simple as a daily walking challenge at lunchtime, which is the kind of physical thing that even the most unfit of staff can take part in.  Do try to involve everyone, not just the sporty types!

The range of things you can do is endless – but if you need ideas or help, contact Hope!
