Harvest for Hope 2023.

This year we are facing an increase in demand for our services because of the rising cost of food and household goods, rising interest rates and energy prices. The numbers of people we support increase every week and it is a constant struggle keeping up with demand.

Harvest is an incredibly important time at Hope as we build our warehouse supplies to have enough food over the winter months.

How to help

Schools and Churches

This year schools and churches can get involved in our ‘Message of Hope’ initiative. Stick a short message to your donated food item to make an indirect connection to our service users and spread some extra cheer this autumn. Follow the food journey from donation to plate on social media using the hashtag #HarvestForHope23.

Businesses

We build strong partnerships with the businesses who support us. Take part in ‘Pallets of Hope’, an initiative launched in collaboration with Franklins solicitors, Northants Food Reach and His Church charity. Raise £500 to purchase a pallet of mixed Christmas goods worth £2500 to help those struggling during the festive season.  Supporting Hope is a valuable way to support the wider community and donations make a significant impact on the lives of our service users.

Individuals

No donation is too small! Donate and get involved in our ‘follow the food’ campaign on social media this year. Watch the impact your donations make when they reach the people we support. The food you donate reaches those in greatest need across Northamptonshire through our many Community Larders and our support service for those struggling with homelessness.
